Terms of Service
The short version
BDO Grind Tracker is a free fan-made tool for Black Desert Online players. Log your runs, plan your gear, compare your rates. In exchange:
- Be 13 or older, and don't be a nuisance to other players or to the site.
- What you write stays yours. We only get the permission needed to run the site — but if you publish a build to the library, other people can copy it.
- The numbers are estimates. Prices come from a third-party feed and baselines are crowdsourced. Do not bet anything you care about on them.
- It's free and it's a hobby project. No uptime promises. Data can be lost. Keep your own records if a run matters to you.
Creating an account means you accept the terms below and the Privacy Policy.
Who we are
BDO Grind Tracker is operated by Solkarra Group Pty Ltd (ACN 688 412 900), an Australian company. "We" and "us" mean that company; "you" means you, the person using the site.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account.
- Most accounts are approved by hand before they can be used, and we can decline one without giving a reason. Accounts created through a guild invite link skip that queue.
- One account per person. Do not share it, and do not sign in to somebody else's.
- Keep your password to yourself. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
- Give us an email address that reaches you, and keep it current — it is how we identify your account.
- Signing in with Discord is a convenience, not a credential we vouch for. It does not skip approval and it grants no extra standing.
How you may use the site
Use it to track and plan your own play. Do not:
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site, or automate access to it outside the documented API with a token we issued you;
- attack, overload, probe or attempt to break the site, or work around its rate limits, anti-bot checks or access controls;
- upload other people's personal information;
- impersonate another player, a guild, an admin or us;
- put anything abusive, harassing, hateful, obscene, deceptive or unlawful into a session note, build name, preset name, guild name or any other field — free-text fields are still fields other people read;
- use the site to break Pearl Abyss's rules, or to organise anything that would;
- resell or commercially redistribute the site's data.
Your content
Your sessions, builds, presets, notes and everything else you enter remain yours. We claim no ownership of them.
To be able to run the site at all, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, display and process what you enter — only for the purpose of operating and improving BDO Grind Tracker. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except as set out below.
Anonymous statistics
The site's community averages and baselines are built from everyone's logged sessions. Statistics derived from your data, in a form that does not identify you, remain ours to keep and publish, and they survive the deletion of your account. The Privacy Policy explains exactly how that works, including for sessions you marked private.
Publishing to the library lets others copy
If you publish a gear build or crystal preset to the public library, you are doing so knowing that any other user can view it, clone it into their own account and edit their copy. That is the feature, not a side effect. By publishing you licence other users to do exactly that.
Their copy is independent: unpublishing or deleting your original does not remove copies other people already made. If you do not want a build copied, keep it private or guild-only.
You confirm you have the right to post whatever you post, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
Moderation
Users can report published builds. We can hide, flag, edit or remove any content, and suspend or delete any account, where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken or the site is being misused. Where it is practical and appropriate we will tell you why, but for clear abuse we may act first.
The numbers are estimates
This one deserves its own section, because the whole site is numbers.
- Market prices come from a third-party API and are refreshed periodically. They lag the real Central Market and can be wrong.
- Community rates and baselines are crowdsourced from what other players entered, including their mistakes.
- Gear, stat and set data is transcribed by hand and can fall out of date after a patch.
- Boss and reset timers are best-effort from published schedules. Schedules change, and in-game events move them.
Everything the site calculates is an estimate for planning. It is not financial, commercial or gameplay advice, and it is not a promise about what any spot will actually earn you. Check anything that matters against the game itself.
Third-party services
The site uses Discord for optional sign-in, Cloudflare for its anti-bot check, and a third-party market API for prices. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them or for their availability. If one of them stops working, features here may stop with it.
Pearl Abyss and game content
BDO Grind Tracker is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Pearl Abyss. Black Desert Online is a trademark of Pearl Abyss.
Item names, icons and other game references belong to their owners and are used here to describe the game. Using this site does not change your obligations under Pearl Abyss's own terms — those are between you and them, and if the two ever conflict, theirs govern your game account.
Cost
Tracking your grind is free, and stays free. Logging sessions, valuing loot, the spot pages, the timers, the gear planner, the leaderboards and the alchemy hub cost nothing and carry no ads.
Some guild features are paid — currently the Node War Scouting Map. A guild can hold it three ways, and they add together rather than competing:
- an officer sets up a subscription, which renews until somebody cancels it;
- any member can contribute a month, as a one-off payment, with no rank and no card kept on file, at either tier. Contributions are added to the end of whatever the guild already has at that tier, so they never pay twice for the same time;
- any member can add to the guild's pool, again as a one-off payment of whatever amount they choose. Money in the pool is not cover by itself: the Guild Master decides which tier it is spent on and when. A pool balance does not expire;
- we can grant it to a guild directly, and sometimes do.
We do not put data you have already logged behind a paywall. That was a promise made before any of this existed and it still holds. When a guild's cover runs out its existing war maps stay readable and nothing is deleted; what stops is placing new markers.
How long we keep your sessions
Your totals are kept for life, on every plan. The number of sessions you have logged, the hours, the silver, your averages and everything built from them stay exactly as they are. Nothing below changes a single figure on your dashboard, on a spot page or on a leaderboard.
What has a time limit is the per-session detail — the itemised loot list, the buffs and the consumable costs recorded against one individual run:
- Free accounts — 7 days of per-session detail.
- Members of a guild on the Platinum plan — 365 days.
- Premium accounts — kept for as long as the account exists.
If more than one of those applies to you — your own premium and a guild's Platinum, or several guilds — you get the longest one, worked out at the time rather than fixed when you logged the run. Joining a Platinum guild lengthens the detail we keep for you; leaving one never shortens it below whatever else you hold.
Nothing you logged before 15 September 2026 is ever removed, on any plan, at any time. The windows above apply only to sessions logged after that date, which we announced before it arrived. That is the promise at the top of this section kept exactly as it was made: what you had already written down when we started selling this stays yours.
One consequence worth naming: a session old enough to have its detail removed keeps the value it was worth on the day you played it, and can no longer be re-valued at today's market prices. Your builds, your exports and every total are unaffected.
We never see your card. Payments are handled by Stripe on their own pages — we receive a confirmation that a payment succeeded, the amount, and a reference; we do not receive or store card numbers. See the privacy policy for exactly what is shared.
Prices are shown before you pay and are charged in the currency shown. A subscription can be cancelled at any time from the guild's billing page, and cancelling leaves the guild covered until the end of the period it has already paid for. If something has gone wrong with a payment, contact us — we would rather fix it than argue about it.
One-off contributions are, by their nature, spent as soon as they extend the guild's cover, and that cover benefits everyone in the guild rather than only the person who paid. Please treat a contribution as supporting your guild rather than as buying something for yourself.
The same is true of the pool, and more so: money you add to it belongs to the guild from that moment, the Guild Master decides what it buys, and we cannot refund it to you afterwards or move it to another guild. If a contribution is reversed after the guild has already spent it, the cover it bought is not taken back — the pool simply carries the shortfall until it is made up. Contribute what you are content to hand to your guild.
Availability
This is a hobby project on shared hosting. There is no uptime guarantee and no support commitment. We may change, suspend or remove features, or take the site down entirely, at any time.
Keep your own copy of anything you would hate to lose. We take reasonable care, but data can be lost to a bug, a failed migration or a hosting failure, and we cannot promise to recover it.
Ending things
You can stop using the site whenever you like, and ask us to delete your account — see the Privacy Policy for what that removes and what it does not.
We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if your account is being used to harm the site or other users, or if we stop running the site. Sections that by their nature should outlast the account — the anonymous statistics licence, the disclaimers, and the liability and governing-law clauses — continue to apply after it is closed.
Liability
The site is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it — including that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free or fit for any particular purpose — and we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it, including lost silver, lost time, lost data or decisions made on the basis of its numbers.
Where we are liable and the law permits us to limit it, our total liability to you is capped at the amount you have paid us to use the site — which, at present, is nothing.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where a statutory guarantee applies and we are permitted to limit our liability for breaching it, we limit it to re-supplying the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia and the courts able to hear appeals from them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will bump the version and ask you to agree again the next time you sign in; minor corrections just change the date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
This is version 2026-08-19, published 19 August 2026.
